Assam Halmari Estate

Assam Halmari Estate (TGFOP1) is a classic breakfast tea grown in the famous Bramaputra River Valley in North India.  Taken alone or with milk/sweetening Halmari is a versatile breakfast tea which can also be taken later in the day paired with savory or sweet foods.   Some of our customers also make their special (Masala) Chai with this tea.  In India, the Assam breakfast teas are often taken with milk which has been heated to just below simmering, then added to the brewed tea - this creates a different and delightful taste compared to adding cold milk.
