Bao Zhong Oolong - Taiwan

Bao Zhong Oolong is known as one of the most famous Pouchong Oolong teas throughout the tea drinking world. Pouchongs are carefully withered, delicately rolled, lightly oxidized, and occasionally wrapped for a period of time to set in aroma into the tea leaf. This results in delicate flavors and aromas. Bao Zhong brews up a pale yellow cup with faint aromas of Lilly. The tea liquor is light and smooth making it a perfect afternoon or evening tea. This Bao Zhong has large dark green leafs and is harvested from plants a little lower grown than the very expensive Wen Shan Bao Zhong of Ping Lin which can fetch $80 a pound or more.
