Bee House Teapots

Form and function combine in these wonderful Japanese teapots. At Strand Tea, we were immediately drawn to the Bee House for its quality workmanship, excellent design, colors, and the fact that they hold the heat well to make good tea. Each teapot has a stainless steel infuser basket and stainless steel lid - removable for ease of cleaning.

Teapots: Blue Mountain

We offer the Blue Mountain Collection Ceramic Teapots in two sizes: 16 oz and 24 oz Capacity.
These teapots are well made and come in a variety of colors to choose from.
They do not come with an infuser.

British Teapots

English kitchens are not complete without the Brown Betty teapot. The Brown Betty has been made in Stoke-On-Trent, England since 1695 from a special red terra cotta clay still gathered from the original clay site and fired with a brown Rockingham glaze. The design of the pot swirls water around the tea leaves to make the "perfect cup of tea."

Teapots: Japanese Tetsubin

Our Bushido Series of this classic Japanese Solid Iron Teapot are made to the highest specifications. They are known for holding the heat and thus allowing the tea leaves to release more flavors. Each Bushido has an 18 oz capacity, stainless steel basket infuser, enameled interior to prevent rusting and comes with a matching iron trivet. These teapots are for brewing and serving tea, not for boiling water.

Teapots: Pondicherry

The 'Pondicherry' two cup (16 oz) capacity ceramic teapots are well-designed, incorporating a Stainless Steel Mesh Infuser Basket and Inter-locking lid. They can be used every day and make great gifts. We don't think you can find a better teapot for the price.

Yixing Teapots

The first recorded Yixing teapot was made by the famous potter Gong Chun in 1513 AD in the town of Yixing in Jiangsu Province. They were immediately used by monks, officials and the literati because of their simple forms, superior heat retention and brewing characteristics. They are hand crafted from dense purple clay by people who have passed down the skill in making these teapots for generations.
