Naturally Grown dark Amber Oolong from heritage tea plants found in the mountains of the Bulang region of Yunnan, South China. This tea is hand produced by the Dai Hill People who carefully process the leaf and infuse it with a light Jasmine scent. This is an excellent tea, with layered tastes, unique among the dark Oolongs. From a tea professionals point of view, this is a well made tea producing the most balanced of tastes and aromas. A beginner and an expert will equally enjoy this tea.
Strand Tea Company was fortunate to acquire the entire 2009 limited production (approximately 100 kilos) of Ancient Beauty Jasmine Oolong which will be sold on a first come first serve basis. Any other tea called Ancient Beauty found in North America is of a different type than this tea.
