Olive leaf (Olea europaea) has been used for centuries for a variety of health conditions including lowering blood pressure, helping to regulate blood sugar, enhancing the immune system in relationship to colds, flus, urinary tract infections, fever, arthrisis, and even herpes and shingles. Olive leaf extracts are also widely used in skin creams.

Clinical evidence has been conflicting regarding lowering blood pressure, but lab studies do support antibacterial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory effects.
